One kind of gamboge bigger than the size of Kuji thekera (<i>Garcinia cowa</i>). The fruit is slightly pointed on the side connected to the peduncle (connecting part of fruit to the stem) and more pointed on the rear side. The seed is covered with a thick mesocarp. Its color becomes yellow when ripe. The fruit is used to cut into small pieces and dried. The dry fruit is used to make curry (especially in Assam and NE states).
